To my many students from all over the world, past and present:I would like to thank all of you who have been in touch since the awful events in Ukraine unfolded. I am so grateful for your support of me and everything that I stand for.
To potential students: I have always believed that learning about different languages and cultures, and in my case helping my students to appreciate the beauty of the Russian language together with its cultural heritage, should bring people together and not the other way round. At times like this, there is little that is more important than fostering better understanding between all nations.
