Introduction
The 2022-2023 Russian Language courses take place between October and July. Each course consists of three terms, with 10 weekly lessons per term. The classes are taught in groups of up to 7 people. All lessons are delivered on Zoom.
Each term can be booked individually. The price of each term / 10 lessons is £290. Discounts are available, please see here for the complete fee information!
Payment can be made by bank transfer or PayPal (international payments welcome).
All course materials are prepared by the teacher (as always!).

This course is designed to help lower advanced and advanced-level students to become as fluent as possible in Russian through watching and discussing TV shows, interviews, documentaries and video blogs. Thanks to its growing popularity, the course now has three “seasons” each consisting of 30 lessons. You’ll improve your command of topic-related vocabulary and ability to vary your style according to the situation. You’ll practice your linguistic skills through a variety of engaging activities (debates, games, interviews etc.). Your cultural awareness will be further developed. For this course I selected grammar points that most learners of Russian find challenging (i.e. verbs of motion, verbs and prepositions with different cases, verb aspect, participles). You will see them in action in both spoken and written language. The course combines all core skills: speaking, reading, listening and writing. It will enable you to expand vocabulary in popular subjects, increase fluency and improve listening skills. Each material comes with a glossary and audio recordings.
